Multiple construction projects to begin in Columbiana County weeks of April 10, 17

Multiple road construction projects are set to begin in Columbiana County during the weeks of April 10 and April 17. Drivers can expect to experience road closures and lane restrictions during the construction period.
Starting Monday, April 10, resurfacing work is expected to begin on a four-mile section of U.S. Route 30 through the city of East Liverpool to the exit for SR-170. During this construction period, one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction.
This work is expected to be completed by Halloween of 2023.
Starting Monday, April 17, Franklin Avenue on SR-344 in Salem is scheduled to close for 190 days.
This closure is for a project to rehabilitate concrete pavement via repair and replacement along a stretch of Franklin Avenue from South Lincoln Avenue to Southern Boulevard.
Non-local traffic will be detoured via Southeast Boulevard to State Street to Lincoln Avenue and reverse.
This project is also expected to be done by Halloween.
Also beginning in Salem on April 17, SR-14 is scheduled to close for 45 days from State Street to U.S. Route 62 for culvert replacements. The detour will be State Street West to U.S. Route 62 and reverse.
