EAST PALESTINE, Ohio - The National Transportation Safety Board plans to hold their investigative hearing into the cause of the Norfolk Southern train derailment in East Palestine on February, 3.
While plans are still being finalized for the investigate hearing, the NTSB plans to hold the hearing this coming June.
Earlier in March, the NTSB sent crews to East Palestine to scope out potential locations for the hearing.
The investigative hearing was first announced by NTSB Safety Board Chair, Jennifer Homendy during a press conference in late February when preliminary reports on the derailment were first released.
