Quickmed opens urgent care clinic at Liberty Elementary School
Quickmed is expanding its services to Liberty Elementary school.
Quickmed held a grand opening celebration Tuesday morning to unveil the new Quickmed "Leopard Clinic" at Liberty School clinic.
The clinic is open to students, staff and family, and provides healthcare that will help students stay in school.
The clinic will operate as an urgent care, which will be provided to students right on campus, and will provide an overall safety net of health for children in the Liberty school community.
"Instead of having to pick your child from school and take them to the doctor, students can just come into the health clinic and all their needs are serviced. Transportation is a big issue for our students, and this provides a convenient service," said Liberty Local Schools Superintendent Andy Tommelleo.
Prescriptions will also be available right at the clinic, and can be picked up at the end of the day.
While the clinic is open to students, staff and family, they're hoping that they will be able to expand to the whole community soon.
