Niles slated for $1.5 million for local street resurfacing over summer

NILES, Ohio - The City of Niles is slated for approximately $1.57 million for local street resurfacing throughout the summer months as part of a continued effort to upgrade the city's aging infrastructure.
The local street resurfacing program will consist of the following streets:
- Fairlawn from North Road to End
- Old Forge from Frederick to Mill Creek
- Potomac from North Road to Trumbull
- North Rhodes from Robbins Avenue to Taft
- North Cleveland from Robbins Avenue to Clinton
- Spruce from Roosevelt to End
- McDonald from Robbins Avenue to James
- Kearny from Hogarth to Hazel
- Belle Terre from Robbins Avenue to Sr-422
- High from Mason to End
- Cedar from Robbins Avenue to SR-46
- Cherry from Robbins Avenue to End
- Peffer from Mason to End
- Helen from North Main to Dragon Drive
- Fourth from Nebraska to End
- West Second from Ward to South Main
- Dakota from West Third to Fifth
- Clover from Warren Avenue to West Park
- North Road from North Main to SR-422
Funding sources for this project include approximately $850,000 worth of local dollars, $150,000 in OPWC grant funds and $575,000 of federal grant funds.
