NILES, Ohio - A Niles hotel has been named "Hotel of the Year" for 2022 by Tharaldson Hospitality Management on Friday.

Residence Inn, located in the Eastwood Mall Complex has been recognized for its excellence in guest satisfaction, operational performance and overall quality.

The hotel offers both single and two-bedroom suites with kitchens and separate living areas, as well as other amenities like free breakfast and Wi-Fi, as well as an indoor pool and fitness center and 24-hour market for snacks and essentials.

"The hotel's exceptional guest service, commitment to quality and outstanding performance make it a shining example of what we strive for at Tharaldson Hospitality Management," said Tharaldson Chief Operating Officer, Aimee Fyke.

According to hotel General Manager, Carrie Biery, the hotel was acquired by Tharaldson in 2019. Biery says she feels like ever since the acquisition, the hotel has taken a turn for the better.

"Winning hotel of the year, and all of the recognition our property received, is such a huge honor. I really take it to heart and appreciate that Tharaldson Hospitality believes in me," Biery said.
