Youngstown State senior guard Shemar Rathan Mayes has entered the NCAA transfer portal. 

In three seasons he played in 78 games, starting 67 and averaged 7 points. The highpoint of his career was in 2020-21 when he started 22 of 24 games and averaged 10 points per game.

 This past season he played on 21 games but was limited due to injury.
