TRUMBULL COUNTY, OH - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has proposed to replace two bridge structures in Trumbull County, as well as repair one more. This will result in multiple road closures and lane restrictions.

The two bridge replacement locations will be in Vernon Township and Champion Township.

In Vernon Township, SR-5 spanning a tributary of Sugar Creek will be closed for approximately 21 days between Bushnell-Campbell Road and Maburn Corners-Barclay Road. The detour will utilize SR-88 and SR-7.

In Champion Township, SR-45 spanning a tributary of Center Creek will be closed between Airport Road and Prentice Road for approximately 21 days. The detour will utilize SR-305, SR-534 and SR-88.

In addition, bridge maintenance will occur in Mesopotamia Township resulting in the closure of SR-87 spanning a tributary of Swine Creek between SR-534 and Brigden Road for approximately 21 days.

The detour will utilize SR-534, SR-88 and SR-45.

The proposed project would not result in any substantial impacts to environmental resources. Anyone with any comments or concerns on any of these projects could call 330-786-4931 or email Brian Peck at Brian.Peck@dot.ohio.gov.
