To some people, there is nothing better than a summer day in the park listening to a band.

Unfortunately, the annual tradition of local and regional bands playing to crowds in Mill Creek MetroParks Morley Performing Arts Pavilion won't be happening this summer.

The summer concert series – Live! at the Morley – which traditionally takes place at the Wick Recreation Area on McCollum Road in Youngstown, has been put on hold for the season, according to Recreational Manager Aaron Hockmann.

Hockmann told 21 News the summer concert series has been suspended for now, stating that due to the saturation of local concerts in the area at other venues.

He said the park would be reviewing the plan for music in the park this fall.
