A Mahoning County Grand Jury has indicted a 55-year-old Joanquin Peralta on charges of four counts rape, three counts of sexual battery, and three counts of gross sexual imposition Thursday.

Peralta is charged with engaging in sexual conduct with a minor under the age of 10, from September of 2016 through January 27, 2021, when the child was 13 years old.

He is currently in Mahoning County Jail awaiting a hearing, which is not currently set.
