A 27-year-old Warren man died after a one-vehicle motorcycle crash Sunday night on State Route 45 in Morgan Township, in Ashtabula County.

Cody M. Norris was driving a 2017 Harley-Davidson southbound, when his motorcycle traveled off the right side of the road, overturned, and struck the guardrail. Norris was not wearing a helmet, according to the press release. 

Norris was life-flighted to a Cleveland hospital and later died, according to the Ashtabula Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened around 8 p.m. near Shaffer Road.

According to OSP, speed, and alcohol are suspected to have been factors in the crash, but the crash remains under investigation.
