More state troopers, local officers out on the road for Memorial Day weekend
Troopers say it's best to put your phone down and give yourself extra time to get to your destination.

As Memorial Day weekend gets underway, there will be more officers out on the roads.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol and local officers will be conducting high-visibility patrols this weekend as well as cracking down on speeding, distracted driving and impaired drivers.
The new distracted driving law is also in place.

AAA is projecting more than 37 million Americans will hit the road over the weekend, two million more than last year.
