YOUNGSTOWN - Two Youngstown State student-athletes will take part in a three-day summit designed to give them the tools to continue using their fame to have a positive influence even after their days on the court or field have ended.

Penguin basketball standout Mady Aulbach and talented soccer player Julia Csernyik will take part in the 2023 INFLCR NIL Summit this June 3-5 in Atlanta, Ga, according to a news release from the University.

NIL is an acronym for the “Name, Image, and Likeness” of student-athletes.

As of June 2021 the NCAA began permitting athletes to use their name, image, and likeness to benefit from business and other opportunities.

The NIL Summit was created by student-athletes as a three-day professional development experience and gathering place for college sports' important stakeholders to share cutting-edge ideas, discover new interests, and learn how to maximize name, image, and likeness opportunities to build their brands and amplify their voices.

The forum will include ideas being shared by celebrity influencers, pro-athletes turned entrepreneurs, collegiate athletes, agents, as well as executives from the world's biggest brands and social media companies.

Information will be shared through several mediums, including keynotes, speaker panels, hands-on workshops, and experiential activities.

The NIL Summit was born of the idea of giving student-athletes from across the nation a platform to converge on as a community of influencers and change agents, to share ideas and collaborate alongside the transformative brands and organizations shaping the future of college sports, according to the news release.
