Howland driver dies after car crashes into Warren home
A 19-year-old woman from Howland has died after her car crashed into a home in Warren.
According to her obituary, Kyralynn Rose Nycum died on Friday as the result of a car accident on May 30.
Warren Police said in a report that Nycum was driving a Pontiac Gran Prix that veered off a curve along Tod Ave. NW and ran into the corner of a duplex.
No one was injured in the home, but Nycum and her male passenger were trapped in the wreckage of the car. Firefighters used a power tool to remove both occupants.
Nycum was taken to Trumbull Regional Medical Center and later flown by medical helicopter to Mercy Hospital in Youngstown.
The male passenger was taken to St. Joseph Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
