Youngstown drive to provide students with college dorm essentials

YOUNGSTOWN - Aisle One Mobile Market is teaming up with Building Neighborhoods of Youngstown to hold a college dorm supplies drive for upcoming students.
The organizations are collecting donations for bedding, bath towels and supplies, monetary donations, as well as other dorm necessities.
Many students from the Youngstown area are the first generation of students in their families to go to college, and the financial issues that students can face are challenging.
A common deterrent is as simple as having the proper supplies and dorm essentials to create the right space to live and study.
Asian One Mobile Market and Building Neighborhoods of Youngstown will be holding a drive for students from Youngstown East, Chaney, Ursuline, Mooney, Valley Christian and Urban Scholars who have proof that they will be attending college and living on campus.
Students can collect items during the College Bound Donation Drive on June 24, starting at noon at the Youngstown Event Center.
Businesses can offer their locations at a collection site, and anyone interested in donating can contact Kimberly Johnson with Aisle One Mobile Market at info@aisleone.services.
