A police investigation into the wounding of 9-year-old Akasha Taylor-Robinson has led to an arrest unrelated to the case.

Osha Jackson has been arrested and taken to the Trumbull County Sheriff's Office after it was discovered he had a warrant out for his arrest in Geauga County.

Jackson and one other suspect were questioned in connection to the shooting that wounded Akasha as she was sleeping on a couch at her family’s Kenilworth Avenue home.

However, police determined Jackson and the suspect did not have anything to do with the shooting after police reviewed security footage that showed they were not in the area at the time of the shooting.
