The city of Campbell has seen a string of arson incidents at multiple vacant structures, many of which slated for demolition since late June of 2023. Now, investigators believe they have an idea on who the culprit or culprits might be.

According to a statement from Ohio Department of Commerce Public Information Officer, Andy Ellinger, as of June 26, Campbell Fire Chief, Stephan Dubic has requested the Ohio State Fire Marshal's Office to assist with any and all fire investigations in the city.

The Fire Marshal's office has concluded the causes of all fires that have occurred in the city since June 26 have been determined to be arson.

Information gathered has been provided with a single juvenile or possibly a group of juveniles as persons of interest.

The State Fire Marshal is currently investigating. Anyone with any info should contact 1-800-589-2728.
