Birds-eye view of Canfield's bike track set to open this fall

CANFIELD, Ohio - A member of Canfield’s Park, Recreation, and Cemetery Board is sharing images of a new place for fun scheduled to open this fall in the city.
In a Facebook post, Lex Calder shared aerial photos of a bike track at Canfield Fair Park.
The asphalt track will have several rollers on each straightaway, 2 berm turns at each end, a 15-foot zig-zag bridge, and a wooden slat 180 walls for those wanting to practice more advanced techniques.
“These kinds of parks are popping up all over America, and many in Ohio and PA as of late. I can’t wait to see the first kid go around, smiling ear to ear!!” wrote Calder in his post.
Calder says the partnership with the American Ramp Company has been a year-and-a-half-long project by the Parks and Recreation Board with the support of the City Council, the acting city manager, and the mayor.
