Beloit man pleads not guilty to vehicular homicide in crash that killed East Liverpool man
According to court employees, 54-year-old Douglas Mackey pled not guilty to three counts of vehicular homicide and is currently free on a $10,000 bond.

BELOIT, Ohio - A Beloit man had pled not guilty to charges related to a crash that killed an East Liverpool man and two others in Carroll County back in April.
According to court employees, 54-year-old Douglas Mackey pled not guilty to three counts of vehicular homicide and is currently free on a $10,000 bond.
The charges stem from a crash that occurred in Carroll County back in April of 2023 when OSP Troopers say Mackey struck a Honda Odyssey head on after traveling left of center into the oncoming traffic lane.
The crash killed 60-year-old Randy Simmons of East Liverpool, as well as two other men from Hammondsville, Ohio.
Mackey is scheduled to reappear in court on August 23 at 10:45 a.m. for a pretrial hearing.
