Columbiana Attorney elected to Ohio State Bar Association leadership
Columbiana District Mark Hutson was elected to a three-year term on the Ohio State Bar Association Board of Governors.
According to a new release from the Ohio Bar Association, Hutson will represent bar member attorneys in District 13, which includes Mahoning and Columbiana counties.
He earned his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and his law degree from Capital University Law School.
Now, Hutson is a solo practitioner and owner of Mark A. Hutson, Attorney at Law and is the municipal attorney for Columbiana.
He is the past president of the Columbiana County Bar Association where he also served on the executive committee.
Before his election to the Ohio Bar Board of Governors, Hutson served on the association's policy-making body.
The Ohio Bar Board of Governors is a 24-member volunteer body that manages the Association's business affairs, sets policy and reviews pending legislation on behalf of the members of the Ohio Bar. Twenty-one members are elected by attorneys in their districts and three members serve as at-large appointees.
