YOUNGSTOWN - A man posed as a parking lot attendant for ABM was accepting cash payments during the Y-Live Kid Rock concert Saturday night.

According to a report, an ABM employee who was working during the concert called police after she noticed a former ABM employee was charging drivers $20 to park in an ABM lot AT 311 West Federal Street.

The woman told officers that all ABM lots only accept electronic payments, and that no one should be collecting cash. She said that herself and another employee walked to the Federal Street lot and noticed a posted sign and the former employee collecting money.

The woman confronted him and the man allegedly apologized for "stealing from her."

She then told him to leave and towed his vehicle. Later that evening, the man returned with an apology letter for the attendee and a check for $540.

The woman told officers she believes he made up to $2,200 that evening due to the amount of parking spaces in the lot.

According to the report, the woman wanted officers to be notified to prevent the former employee from repeating this action in the future.
