Firefighters were called out early Tuesday to battle flames at a mobile home in Weathersfield Township early Tuesday.

The call came in before 4:15 a.m. from the Westwood Lake trailer park off Austintown Warren Road when smoke began pouring from a furnace on the 700 block of Country Pines Drive.

Investigators say the man living at the home was cut by broken glass while escaping through a window.

The first firefighter to arrive found smoke coming from the home and the Lordstown Fire Department was also called out to help battle the fire.

The resident was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries investigators say are not life-threatening.

The Ohio Fire Marshal is investigating.
