Canfield Fair attendance jumps by nearly 30,000 this year, but still not up to pre-pandemic numbers
This year showed a considerable increase in attendance compared to 2022 with a final total of 275,080 people in attendance compared to last year's 245,140, an increase of nearly 30,000.

CANFIELD, Ohio - The 177th Canfield Fair is officially in the books and the final attendance numbers have been recorded.
This year showed a considerable increase in attendance compared to 2022 with a final total of 275,080 people in attendance compared to last year's 245,140, an increase of nearly 30,000.
Despite the increase, this still isn't as high as some pre-pandemic years, as 2019 reported a total of 304,462, 2018 reported a total of 295,781 and 2017 reported a total of 284,556.
According to the fair's Facebook page, the highest recorded overall attendance for the Canfield Fair was set in 1979 when 539,437 people attended the fair overall.
