Nearly four months after searching his apartment, police have arrested a Niles man on one count of pandering obscenity involving a minor.

Robert Fiorenzo, 38, was booked into the Trumbull County Jail on Wednesday and had bail set at $500,000 during his arraignment in Niles Municipal Court.

According to a police report, officers acting on a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force searched Fiorenzo’s Robbins Avenue apartment on May 15th.

In addition to seizing a cable modem and router, investigators seized a cell phone, computer, photo paper and several VHS tapes.

Niles Municipal Judge Christopher Shaker appointed a public defender to represent Fiorenzo at his next court hearing scheduled for September 11.
