Newton Falls man in child rape case set to plead Tuesday

A Newton Falls man accused of various counts related to child rape and pornography is set to enter plea on Tuesday, Sept. 12.
Steven Billock, 39, was indicted on more than 30 counts including one one count for rape and attempted rape with sexually violent predator specifications.
This also includes 21 counts of illegal use of minors in nudity-oriented material or performances.
Additionally, he was indicted three counts of gross sexual imposition with sexually violent predator specification, and three more counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor in the fourth degree.
Billock was placed under arrest after the FBI, Mahoning County SWAT, and Trumbull County Sheriff's Department raided a Newton Township home late in June.
According to Major Tony Villanueva with the Trumbull Sheriff's Department, the raid was initially to execute a search warrant on the property on the 2300 block of Grant Street.
Billock was present in the home and taken into custody on an unrelated warrant.
