A homeowner on Youngstown's north side had quite the unexpected guest Thursday afternoon.

Shortly before 12:30 p.m., 21 News took a call from the shocked homeowner who told us the goat had entered her yard on the 1800 Block of 5th Avenue and would not leave. The homeowner tells us she's never seen this goat before and did not know where it came from.

Our 21 News crews paid the homeowner a visit and she told us that she had contacted multiple humane agencies in the Valley, but none were of any help.

It wasn't until two habitat enforcement agents noticed the goat while driving by the home and stopped and tried to capture it. After a short chase through the yard, the goat ran several houses over until eventually entering a nearby garage.

It was later determined that the owner of this goat lived on this property and will be facing charges for owning a goat and some chickens within city limits.
