Former Sharon resident sentenced to 27 months in prison for Drug Trafficking
Shantell Griggs, age 45, formerly of Sharon, was sentenced to 27 months in prison for cocaine trafficking

Shantell Griggs, age 45, formerly of Sharon, was sentenced to 27 months in prison for cocaine trafficking by United States District Judge Cathy Bissoon on Wednesday.
The judge also ordered Griggs to serve six years of supervised release following his prison sentence.
According to the courts, Griggs pled guilty earlier this year to conspiring to distribute cocaine between July 2019 and November 2021 in Sharon, Mercer County.
Griggs also pled guilty to possessing with intent to distribute cocaine on September 1, 2021, in Sharon.
He stipulated to being responsible for the distribution of 300 grams of cocaine.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted the investigation leading to the convictions
and sentence against Griggs.
