Hubbard man arrested for threatening to light house on fire, blow up police station and shoot officers

A Hubbard man is arrested after threatening to light his home on fire, shoot officers and blow up the Hubbard Police Department.
Hubbard Police were called to a home on East Liberty Street Thursday after 32-year-old Daniel Good's mother called officers and told them that her son was threatening to light their home on fire.
According to a report, when officers arrived on scene, they observed no flames coming from the home, but reported Good's behavior as "erratic."
Officers say that while trying to talk with Good, he threatened to shoot officers numerous times and called dispatch on a recorded line, making additional remarks about shooting officers and blowing up the police department.
The report claims that after being placed under arrest, Good tried pulling away from the arresting officer.
After being placed into a police cruiser, Good became extremely aggressive and threatened to kill officers and their families. Good also allegedly threatened to blow up the school, police and fire department. He also told officers he would drive his car through the fire department.
According to the report, Good also spit in the cruiser multiple times while on the way to Trumbull County Jail.
Good was charged with one count of resisting arrest, one count of assault, one count of making a terroristic threat and two counts of aggravated menacing.
This is not Good's first run in with police, or his first time threatening to blow up the police station. He has a long running criminal history that dates back to 2012.
In June of 2012, Good was charged with robbery and abduction for threatening a teenager with a knife after taking their cellphone, car keys and wallet.
In August 2016, officers arrested good after he called Trumbull County Dispatch and threatened to blow up the police station. Good was arrested and charged with making a terroristic threat and aggravated menacing.
In September of 2022, Good was arrested for threatening a group of women with a box cutter for blocking his pick-up while he was trying to drive down Doris Drive in Hubbard.
He was arrested for aggravated menacing and criminal damaging.
