HERMITAGE, Pa. - Multiple people have been injured in a crash involving an ambulance on New Year's Eve.

According to Mercer County Dispatchers, the crash happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of East State Street and Dutch Lane. 

Dispatchers confirmed that there were multiple injuries, but could not tell us how many or the extent of those injuries.

A Facebook post from Superior Ambulance Service & Education Institute in Grove City says that the ambulance crew was treated and released from Sharon Regional Medical Center.

At this time, it's unclear what caused the crash.
