A man who died of a medical emergency behind the wheel causing a multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday has been identified.

The Mercer County Coroner's Office identified the male as 75-year-old David Chill of New Castle.

Coroner John Libonati previously told 21 News that Chill had suffered a medical emergency and died before his car drifted into the opposite lane and collided with two cars head on.

At this time, the circumstances leading up to the medical emergency are unclear.

Two other people were taken to the hospital with at least one being life flighted by helicopter.
