Two injured in head-on crash, closing Boardman intersection

Two people were hospitalized after a traffic accident that shut down an intersection in Boardman early Wednesday.

BOARDMAN TWP., Ohio - Two people were hospitalized after a traffic accident that shut down an intersection in Boardman early Wednesday.

A car and an SUV were heavily damaged at Market Street and Sheilds Road.

According to State Troopers, the two victims suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.

As of 4:30 a.m., Market Street was closed in the area.

The patrol is still investigating the cause of the crash.
