One person has been taken to the hospital after being shot on the west side of Youngstown.

According to the Youngstown Police Department's Captain's Office, the incident happened earlier this evening on the 400 block of North Bon Air Avenue, near Connecticut Avenue.

According to a police report from YPD, a 20-year-old Black male was found in a home with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is in stable condition.

No arrests have been made at this time.
