Rite Aid on South Water Street in Sharon to close

More store closures have been announced for Rite Aid, increasing the casualties of the store's bankruptcy.

This time, Rite Aid plans to close its store on 60 South Water St. in Sharon. This means there will only be one other Rite Aid in the community on 811 East State Street.

At this time, it's unclear when this closure will happen.

The closure was filed in court documents on Jan. 29that announced 17 more closings as a result of store's bankruptcy filing last year. The business announced the closure of 180 stores last year across multiple states in 2023.

It's is among many other Rite Aid closures around our viewing area, which included closures in East Liverpool, Howland and much more.
