A Vienna man will take home $1.8 million from a winning lottery scratch-off ticket.

That's according to a news release from the Ohio Lottery which states that a man only identified as "Gary"  bought a Monopoly 200X scratch-off revealing the game's top prize of $200,000 a year for 25 years.

Gary chose the cash option prize of $2,500,000 and after mandatory state and federal tax totaling 28 percent, he will receive $1,800,000.

The winning ticket was purchased at The Beverage Depot in Youngstown.  Gary bought the ticket on his way home from work. After scratching the ticket, he ran back into the store to have them scan it to confirm it was a winner.

"I thought I was having a heart attack! I was shaking so bad I didn't know if I'd make it home," Gary said of the moment he realized he had won.

He and his wife plan to use the winnings to build a new home and invest the rest.
