BOARDMAN, Ohio - The Boardman Police Department has learned the identity of a driver in a hit skip crash.

A picture posted to the Boardman Police Department's Facebook page shows the suspect vehicle backing into another parked vehicle and driving away. The post did not say where exactly this crash occurred.

Another photo attached to the post shows a white male in a blue shirt caught on a store's surveillance cameras (pictured below) who is believed to be the driver of the vehicle.

Police say this incident occurred at a Family Dollar store on Market Street near North Lima on January 27.

According to Patrolman Dato with the Boardman Police Department, the Beaver Township Police Department recognized the vehicle and the suspect and provided the identity.

Dato says no charges have been filed yet, but he will be following up on this case on Thursday.
