Quaker has added even more products to its ongoing recall due to salmonella concerns.

The recall was initially issued in December of 2023 and expanded upon in January. Now one more granola bar has been added to the recall along with the other bars, cereals and other snacks.

That bar, along with all the other recalled products can be found here.

According to the FDA, these products were sold in stores across the U.S., as well as Puerto Rico, Guam and Saipan.

Salmonella is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.

Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections, endocarditis, and arthritis.

If you happen to have any of these products, you're asked not to consume them and instead throw them away.
