Warren PD: Alcohol may factored into deadly ATV crash

Investigators say they believe alcohol may have been a factor in an off-road ATV crash that killed one person and injured another.

WARREN, Ohio - Investigators say they believe alcohol may have been a factor in an off-road ATV crash that killed one person and injured another.

According to a news release from the Warren Police Department, a side-by-side all-terrain vehicle crashed Saturday night around 7:24 p.m. along a trail just south of Burton St. SE and west of Wallace Street SE.

Dispatch records show that a white male and a white female were involved.

The driver was killed, and a passenger was seriously injured with a laceration on their hand.

Authorities have not yet released the names of the victims.
