Youngstown man accused of slicing brother-in-law's throat indicted on felonious assault charge

A Youngstown man has been indicted on a count of felonious assault stemming from an incident where he allegedly sliced a man's throat.
Kevin Kramer, 45, is accused of attacking his brother-in-law and slicing his throat with a steak knife.
The alleged attack happened at a home in the 500 block of Ridge Avenue just after 8 p.m. on January 8.
According to a police report, officers were greeted by a little girl at the house who claimed her uncle stabbed her father.
Police went inside and found a man on the ground covered in blood and another man standing over him, threatening him with a steak knife.
The man on the ground was identified as Kramer, who allegedly came up behind the victim when he was sitting in a chair and sliced his throat.
During the time of the alleged attack, two children under 11 years old were inside the home.
Both the victim and Kramer were taken to the hospital for treatment.
