A man has been arrested in connection to a homicide from early 2024 in Boardman.

According to the release, 24-year-old Jerome Tubbs of Youngstown was arrested Friday by the U.S. Marshals Service Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.

Tubbs was arrested without incident in Youngstown and is being held in the Mahoning County Jail.

Police say Tubbs shot and killed 30-year-old Michael Kosarich on January 6.

Officers found Tubbs unresponsive inside of a car at the intersection of Indianola Avenue and Market Street.

21 News reported on January 23 that a search warrant was served at an apartment on Matthews Road in Boardman in connection to the shooting.

Tubbs's arraignment hasn't been scheduled yet.
