A pizza restaurant in Poland is now permanently closed.

According to a voice message that plays when customers call, Inner Circle Pizza in Poland is now permanently closed due to "unforeseen circumstances."

The message goes on to state that Inner Circle's Canfield location is still open and Poland customers are redirected there. 21 News crews also observed a sign on the door redirecting customers to Canfield.

21 News got a hold of the restaurant's co-owner Don Larcinese who tells us the main reason for the closure was due to cost increases beginning with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Larcinese tells 21 News the costs of product and labor have gone up and it got to the point where the restaurant would have had to raise prices up to 50%, which owners chose not to do.

Since then, Larcinese tells us the business was losing money and it was too late to implement price increases, so the restaurant had to close.

"I had a great run in the Youngstown area starting at [Youngstown State University] in 1972. I've made a lot of good friends, had a lot of great employees and had a lot of good customers over the years. But as everything else, things come to an end," Larcinse said.
