Warren man accused of dealing meth using name 'Jake from State Farm'

BROOKVILLE, Pa. - A Warren, Ohio man, who police describe as a suspected high-level meth dealer, sits in a Pennsylvania jail on $200,000 bond after police from a small community say he tried to sell undercover officers a quarter pound of the drug.
According to Brookville Borough Police, undercover officers used Facebook to set up a drug buy with someone who identified themself with the same name used by the actor in insurance commercials "Jake from State Farm.”
With the help of the Attorney General and local Sheriff’s Deputies, Police say they met 26-year-old Robert Joseph Travis III of Warren at a truck stop off Interstate 80 last Thursday.
Police arrested Travis, who they say was found with meth, a digital scale, and cash.
Travis is charged with manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent, criminal use of a communication facility, and possession of a controlled substance.
Another hearing for Travis is scheduled before a Jefferson County District Magistrate next week.
