Professional Development now welcoming displaced Eastern Gateway students

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Another school is now accepting Eastern Gateway Community College students who have been displaced after the college halted enrollments.
The Professional Development Center (PDC), which operates job placement centers in both Youngstown (6, West Federal Street) and Warren (237 Main Avenue) is now welcoming these displaced students into similar programs at the PDC.
Those looking to be a State Tested Nurse Aide or to be certified in Basic Welding, Advanced Welding or Fitting/Blueprint reading can enroll in the PDC's accelerated training programs.
Additionally, students can take advantage of programs in carpentry or train to become a state licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant. Tuition assistance is available for those who qualify.
PDC is the latest institution to welcome displaced Eastern Gateway students with other Valley schools like Choffin Career & Technical Center, East Ohio College and Youngstown State University all stepping in to help.
