Bowling: Both Spartan teams ready for state tournament
Both are competing in the Division I tournament in Columbus.

Both the Boardman boys and girls bowling teams are headed to the Division I State Tournament in Columbus,
The girls team making its 5th consecutive trip to the tournament,
Individually, Marissa Funk and Kaitlyn Greenaway were named to their third straight all-conference team. Funk was also tabbed the player of the year. being named player of the year.
The team consist of Audrey Anderson, Marissa Funk, Kaitlyn Greenaway, Lily Haase, Jasmine Kortes, Emily Leonard, and Gabby Vennetti.
The boys team boasted an 8-0 record in the AAC Conference and 6-0 in non-conference play.
They set a school scoring record, rolling a total pin-fall of 3030 in an AAC match.
The team is led by 2024 District Champion, and all AAC team member Austin Rule along with Ben Hildebrand all AAC team member, Brayden Rudge all AAC team member, Jessy Heavner all AAC Team Member; Caden Wilcox, Yousuf Rehman and Don Bagdassarian.
