Saxon Club makes nostalgia filled menu for hungry diners
The restaurant and social club made meals inspired by the Tokyo House, which closed in 2019.
Hundreds of folks in The Valley had a taste for nostalgia Saturday night.
They found it at the Saxon Club in Youngstown, which served menu items based on the popular Tokyo House.
The popular Asian cuisine restaurant, known for only being open four hours a day, closed in 2019 when its owners Can and Hin Dao retired.
According to a fraternal member of the club, more than 700 meals were served during the event.
Saturday's event was the first event like this. The organizers of the pop-up event, Justin and Cara Bartell, say they plan to do more events like this in the future.
