NILES, Ohio - The Trumbull County Grand Jury will decide if there’s enough evidence to put a Niles man on trial for a head-on crash that claimed the life of a Weathersfield Township man.
A judge in Niles Municipal Court sent a charge of vehicular manslaughter filed against 43-year-old Daniel Villio to the Trumbull County Grand Jury for consideration.
According to Weathersfield Police, Villio was passing another car along West Park Avenue on March 3 when his Cadillac ran head-on into an oncoming car being driven by 72-year-old Brian Molnar.
Molnar was severely injured and died later at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown.
