WOLF CREEK TWP., Pa. - Plans for the upcoming Scrubgrass Road Bridge Project have been posted online.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is set to replace the existing bridge with a new concrete one.

The bridge is located in Wolf Creek Township in Mercer County on Scrubgrass Road near the intersection with Centertown Road (Route 2009) and the intersection with Route 173 (Sandy Lake Road).

Construction is expected to begin during the 2025 season.

The existing steel I-beam bridge was built in 1939 and reconstructed in 1975. It's classified as being in poor condition and has a 30-ton weight limit.
