VIDEO: Road in East Liverpool reopens to one lane of traffic after landslide
A road in Columbiana County has partially reopened after a landslide closed the road earlier in the day.
One lane of traffic on State Route 39 in East Liverpool has reopened and is being maintained by an electronic flagger, according to William Jones, the Safety Director of East Liverpool.
The landslide has impacted the westbound lane of State Route 39 at Putnam Street in East Liverpool, Jones said.
Motorists are advised to take Calcutta-Smithferry Road.
The westbound lane will remain closed in case of further sliding.
