Two juveniles were taken to the hospital with suspected major injuries after a car collided with a horse and buggy on Sunday in Wilmington Township, Pennsylvania.

According to the police report, Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) were dispatched to a vehicle and buggy crash on State Route 956 at Parsonage Road.

When police arrived on scene, they found the buggy on its side with major damage and the buggy's occupants, a 14-year old boy and a 12-year-old boy, outside of the vehicle also with suspected major injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet Silverado that struck the horse and buggy had no reported injuries.

PSP states that the horse and buggy was traveling through the intersection at Parsonage Road, crossing State Route 168 onto Volser Road when it pulled out in front of the northbound traveling car, causing the car to crash into the side of the buggy.

Both boys were transported to the hospital. The report made no mention on the condition of the buggy's horse.

Charges were filed against the boy driving the buggy for a stop sign violation.
