Warren Police find 24 shell casings from separate shootings

WARREN, Ohio - Detectives in Warren are hoping video from home security cameras will help them find who fired shots in separate neighborhoods on Sunday.
At around 2:30 a.m., officers who heard more than 20 shots fired went to the 100 block of Atlantic Street NE where a man said a shot had been fired into a garage.
Police found 18 spent shell casings from two different weapons nearby.
While investigating, officers learned of seven shots fired near a convenience store on the 1400 block of Elm Road NE and a gunshot wound victim who had walked into Trumbull Regional Medical Center. The police report doesn’t indicate if that hospital patient was wounded by that gunfire.
That same evening, shortly before 7 p.m., a caller told dispatchers that someone in a red Buick or Equinox with tinted windows fired half a dozen shots at their home on the 2800 block of Randolph Street NW.
Police couldn’t find the vehicle but collected six spent 9 mm shell casings.
