Police are working to find out how a man was wounded on Youngstown’s Northside late Thursday.

Officers were called to Mercy Hospital at around 9:30 p.m. when the victim showed up with a gunshot wound.

Investigators tell 21 News that the man isn’t saying much, but they believe the shooting occurred on the 400 block of Lora Avenue, a couple of blocks east of Belmont Avenue.

According to police, the victim was last listed in stable condition.
