YOUNGSTOWN - The suspected driver of an SUV heavily damaged in a crash off Interstate 680 in Youngstown is expected to face charges once he gets out of the hospital.

The SUV veered off the ramp from Shirley Road to southbound I-680 at 11:30 p.m. Monday, knocking down a utility pole.

First Responders found the heavily damaged SUV, but the driver was nowhere to be seen.

Police learned later that someone took the driver to Mercy Health in Boardman where he was arrested.
